It all began in the N12 class. Mike was sailing harder than his boat was and couldn’t afford a new one, so over a long winter Aardvark Issues was born, one of the first Big Issue designs to be built – it all snowballed from there and now Aardvark Technologies is one of the main builders of these great little boats.

We can offer 3 designs, The Feeling Foolish, Big Issue 2 and the new Burton Cup (2008) winning Paradigm hull shape. All of these hull shapes have been proven to be fast in the right hands across a wide range of conditions.

Epoxy/glass foam sandwich hull – Gelcoat finish in white, ready to fit out with painted decks (your choice of colour) and cockpit. Choice of deck layouts available.

Package Modifications

Replace glass with carbon as hull/deck laminate. Removes a bit of weight and increases stiffness

Painted hull rather than gelcoat, removes approx 8 kilos of weight and allows finishing in all manner of garish colours – like Pink and metallics. Foils can be colour matched (not available in metallic)
