Shinobi RC Trimaran
We now have a set of moulds to produce a radio controlled Trimaran. Effectively, this a scaled down ORMA 60, built to the mini40 rules.
The boat is designed to tack quickly, while having fine easily-driven outriggers with enough reserve buoyancy to stop the boat tripping over itself. Early sails have proven the boat to be very sweet and responsive to sail.
Prices are £50 per pair of carbon hull mouldings (left and right side) in unassembled form.
An assembled hull is £85 ready to paint.
An assembled ready-to-paint platform is £500. The current design is in the region of 1.8KG and is very stiff with complete on the water weights in the region of 2.2KG
